Tia Chucha's 18th Annual Celebrating Words Festival

Our annual Celebrating Words Festival is a celebration of books, art, cultura, and community. On our 18th annual celebration we gave away 1,300 brand new books, hosted over 20 creative workshops, 7 on stage performances, literary workshops, artisan and food fair, resources and more. Tia Chucha's Centro Cultural & Bookstore transforms community in the Northeast San Fernando Valley and beyond through ancestral knowledge, the arts, literacy and creative engagement.
